Process

AI-assisted work

Balloon was developed with AI-assisted tools. Some illustrations, copy, and implementation contain AI-generated material. Matthew Linn directed the work, selected and arranged results, and revised the system through review.

Copyright protection may not extend to material generated solely by AI. AI-assisted work is reviewed before it becomes part of Balloon.

Typography

Fonts and licenses

Balloon uses IBM Plex, Inter, Manrope, Nunito Sans, Playfair Display, and Source Sans 3 through Google Fonts. The font software and family names remain subject to their authors’ open-source licenses.

The reflected lowercase b in the Balloon mark was derived from Playfair Display and converted to outlined vector geometry under the SIL Open Font License.
